Floud S.r.l. è beneficiaria del progetto Floud4Europe - cofinanziato con fondi POR-CReO FESR 2014 - 2020 - BANDO A 2018 - Sostegno alle MPMI per l’acquisizione di servizi per l’innovazione. Scopo del progetto è implementare la realizzazione di una mappa strategica dell’impatto del prodotto di monitoraggio del traffico Floud4Europe, inquadrandolo all’interno delle dinamiche aziendali e del suo mercato di riferimento al fine di massimizzarne il posizionamento. Il progetto intende ulteriormente incrementare il valore aggiunto della tecnologia FLOUD, innovando la proposta di valore fatta nei confronti della clientela (esistente e potenziale) e nei confronti degli stakeholder rilevanti.

And the Philips Smart Cities Challenge 1st prize goes to… FLOUD! Yes, we won the Philips Smart Cities Challenge! This guy here is Walter Nunziati, Floud CEO, with a big check signed by “Signify”, which is the new brand for Philips Lighting. Walter went in Paris with Gregory Eve, CEO of GreenApes, to present our idea for the Smart City. Thanks to both for the amazing result!

A few months ago, Floud formed a partnership with GreenApes to participate to the Philips SmartCities Challenge, a contest for start-up companies willing to present their ideas for the SmartCity. The winning company will be rewarded with the launch of a marketing campaign together with Philips Lighting, and the good news is, Floud is amongst the five companies admitted to the final stage of the contest! The final event will take place on September 10th in Paris.

“Destinations” is a co-funded European project that builds up an integrated approach to address mobility and tourism in six European cities participating to 2020 “CIVITAS” initiative. One of them is Funchal, in the beautiful Madeira island (Portugal). In late June 2018 we went there to help the local Mobility and Traffic Division setting up a new network of traffic monitoring sensors that will help them in achieving their “CIVITAS 2020: Destinations” project goals.

Floud borns as a spin-off of Magenta Software Lab. The two companies are deeply bound one onother. That is why you might find some reference to Magenta around in this web site, and also Magenta’s logo in some screenshot.
